While we agree that Pismo's size is nearly perfect for a pro PowerBook,
we do think there's a huge void left by the lack of a 2400 replacement
that must be filled soon.

If you fly on an airplane much, the PB 2400 is almost too big. I would
accept a 12" scrren with a tighter bezel and good contrast in sunlight.
Overall size should be less than 8.5" x 11" and thin as possible

I reluctantly upgraded from a 2400 to a Pismo. The major incentive was
airport and 1024x768 resolution, but I would prefer that resolution in a
smaller and lighter form factor. The weight really matters when I ride my
bicycle to work or carry the laptop around on my shoulder at a week-long
conference.
