It'll happily run most monitors at 800x600 with 1000s of colors - I've had
mine on up to 21" monitors with no problems but I've found the 17" apple
multisync works very nicely although at 800x600 I prefer the 15" multisync.
The 2400 can drive resolutions between 640x480 and 1024x768 although the
only way to use the LCD and an external monitor is at 800x600 simulscan
mode...
