I have the problem of a serial port that may or may not be dead. I have been
able to import photos from my Kodak DC-265 into my 2300 via serial cable
(very slow but good if you're on the road) but now it doesn't work all of a
sudden. Tech Tool cannot find the serial port to check it. Tech tool cannot
find the serial port whether in the dock or not. Previously I could upload
pix ionto the 2300 thru the dock or without it.
I use the phone jack to go online which is fine so the serial port is
available for the camera. I have to use an extension set with no modem
extensions on because they conflict with the Digita Acquire software. Anyone
know how to check for serial port problems? or have any suggestions? I'm
using Photoshop 4.01.
