Does everyone else have this problem? Can the Duo's >built-in monitor not be turned off? David, I believe the display will only dim for the purposes you describe. As a commercial web hosting service, we learned long ago never to spin down your HD. I know a lot of folks will raise eyebrows at the thought of a 2300 being any type of server, but it's a great test box. We used one as a secondary http and mail server for months. However, we did it from a dock. Good for you! paul www.afterhoursconsulting.org ---------- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net! A listserv for users and fans of Mac subportables.
