Hi all. This is the single most helpful list I've ever subscribed to, and I can't express enough thanks to most of you here who have offered the best of advice and tips for our aging Duos/2400s. That said, I have one simple request: can everybody replying to the list PLEASE, PLEASE, delete the footers from their replies before sending?? To refresh your memory, the footer starts with: >Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net! And ends with the four sponsors and their contact info. I receive the digest version, and some days there is more of the footer contained in the digest than actual replies! It has gotten so bad recently that I've considered deleting my subscription. C'mon, folks. This is common sense AND common courtesy. Delete those footers before replying!
