This is actually a private list for the use of duplicity developers. I authorized this post without looking too closely, but I'll try to get you started on the restore. Please repost your message on the above list if you continue to have problems. If you run 'duplicity -V', what version do you have? The command line you showed does not seem to have any errors. It may be that you have an older version of duplicity. If so, I'd suggest upgrading to the latest version at https://code.launchpad.net/duplicity/+download (0.6.05). If you continue to have problems, run the duplicity command with -v9 like: 'duplicity -v9 ftp://u...@domain/backup /media/disk' and post the log and command line on the duplicity-talk list.
