I've contacted the hotline from 1und1.de: they don't give support for linux and webdav. But it seems, that there is something wrong in their implementation. May be, they need to much time for creating and changing directories: there is a time-gap, where no instructions will be taken (it is well shown, if the dav-disk is mounted local). Meanwhile I've an account at https://www.free-hidrive.com/ (disk in cloud, probably without costs): duplicity works well. May be I will check next release of duplicity with 1und1.de...
