That does not mean the enclosed tar file is OK though. To test that, run: $ tar tzvf duplicity-full.20150322T220729Z.vol16.difftar.gz
If you run: $ sha1sum duplicity-full.20150322T220729Z.vol16.difftar.gz do you get the value in the manifest or the value calculated in the error message? Have you tried downloading the file again?
