Hi Robert,
Does a simple duplicity command work? For example:
cd /tmp
mkdir dup_test
cd dup_test
mkdir src
mkdir dest
echo "test" > src/test.txt
duplicity src/ file://dest/
If so, I'd start removing lines from your duplicity statement to try to
isolate which argument is causing it to fail.
