Umm, the message "Failed to read" appeared on the first listing, not on
the second. I'd suggest downloading duplicity-new-
signatures.20181213T043719Z.to.20181215T230125Z.sigtar.gz to a temp
location and run:
$ gzip -t duplicity-new-
signatures.20181213T043719Z.to.20181215T230125Z.sigtar.gz
