Follow-up Comment #3, bug #21700 (project duplicity):
You must give the --ssh-askpass switch to interactively prompt for an SSH
password, which isn't in your example.
Does
$ python -u duplicity-bin -v9 --num-retries=1 --ssh-askpass
~/sandbox/duplicity/ ssh://[EMAIL PROTECTED]/testdup/
work instead?
BTW, I'm seeing the same compile error on the CVS head as Peter Schuller.
