Thanks for the info.
There is no way to regenerate the signature file. This will come as part of
the checkpoint/restart set of changes I'm making. For now, its created as a
temp file and automatically removed at the end of the run, regardless of
success. The segfault may have left it, but its probably not consistent with
the backup, so would be fairly useless.
