Details:
1. The upload timeout is unsuited for larger files with lower bw, but that
can be easily remedied with setting it higher. I'm not sure what's the point
of the timeout being the way it is however. A stale upload detector makes
sense (and most likely isn't implemented?), but a dumb timeout would be a
reasonable choice only if the default was either not to turn it on, or set it
to at least twenty minutes or so (especially if full backup is being done).
This should get redesigned.
2. Even assuming a specified timeout is what the user actually wants, it
should be possible to handle the interrupt better. Maybe remove the
half-uploaded file, since duplicity should be aware that the connection is
actually ok, it's just the timeout that has been reached.
