No, I cannot... Could you paste me the output of your SCons run? In the past there was one strange side effect when building without libao being installed. I don't even know if this problem still exists, but maybe this here is something similar. Do you have libmad and liba52 installed (also the development packages)? Needless to say that building rev30 worked on my system. Probably just a funny mistake in the SCons scripts...
