Sometimes the input files (in particular those from DVB-T receivers) are
so badly damaged that dvbcut can't handle them. The symptoms are that it
will allocate lots of memory while exporting, and segfaults when it
finally runs out of memory. I assume this is due to transport stream
packets that should have been dropped because it's not clear where they
belong. They usually occur between a gap in the stream - that is, one or
more missing transport packets -, and the next packet that has a payload
unit start indicator set.
I haven't seen many segfaults since I added the mpaframe() patch I
posted on Feb 9, however.
