Hello, DVBCUT users. I just released version 0.5.1 of DVBCUT. You find the download links on the DVBCUT homepage http://dvbcut.sourceforge.net/ .
There are only small fixes and improvements of the useability. E.g. there is now a progress bar and a canel button while dvbcut is indexing an input file. The most notable change is, that DVBCUT now comes with a copy of the needed parts of the FFMPEG sources. You no longer need to have FFMPEG installed on your system to compile DVBCUT. On the other hand, the build utility "SCons" is now needed. It should be available for all important Linux distributions. It makes the installation much easier, you will only have to type 'make', and that's it. For Debian users, I can now also offer a binary package. You'll find it in the download section of the DVBCUT homepage. Please be aware that DVBCUT is still alpha, as the version number 0.5.1 suggests. There are surely bugs and problems in it.
