I totally agree. It's more than annoying. However, I would like to preserve the possibility for non-members to post, if possible. I could not find any documentation on how to do spam filtering for the Sourceforge mailing lists services, but I figured out, that sourceforge does add an X-Spam-Score header to the mails (by means of Spamassassin). I added a regular expression filter to the mailing list manager, such that spam mails are now held for approval. I hope it works.
