A small but long-standing annoyance ...

If I have a directory containing a link to an mpg file, and I try to open it 
with dvbcut, then the default index file location is always at the target 
directory of the link, instead of in the starting directory.

If the source mpg is on /cdrom, then you can see that there is no point trying 
to create an index file there!

Is this an unfortunate side-effect of "cross-platform support" in QT, or a 
strangeness in dvbcut code?
