You're right, it can cause trouble... but the input file name(s) is/are also 
hidden inside the project file... and if you specify these you could also do 
so with the output file...

Naah,... I'm even not sure if Sven plans to commit this...

BTW,... you probably already found the bug in my diff file (the fprintf's?)... 
sorry for that! It's never a good idea to edit a diff file... even if it's 
just a format string... :-(

And with the "pictures"... in both cases the same number coming from 
"idx::realpictures" has been used... for linslider and in exportFile()...I 
checked it... idx::pictures is not visible there.

 It's just that linslider does not display/use that supplied "pictures-1" but 
some smaller value if positioned to the end... don't know why!

Maybe because it can only position to I-Frames at the end of the scale?
