ok. OS is debian etch, LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, no LC_* variables.

Filename is for example 'Mügnüm.rec'. It is no problem to load the file, save
an
index, save the dvbcut-file, load the dvbcut-file, and export the mpg. All with
'Mügnüm.*'.

But, directly after saving the dvbcut file for the first time, I see
'M⃞⃞gn⃞⃞m.dvbcut' (I hope
the chars make it through this mail: each umlaut is replaced by two boxes) in
the
'File->open recent' list. When choosing it from this list, I get the message
'file not found'.

I then tried to open the file via 'File->Open'. No problem. After that, I have
a correct
and working entry under 'File->open recent'.

After closing dvbcut and startng it again, I have two entries:
'M⃞⃞gn⃞⃞m.dvbcut' and
'M?gn?m.dvbcut'. Both dont work.
