Hi,

I use dvbcut to cut movies from DVB-S (topfield TVR 5000) and then burn them to
dvd using dvdauthor and grwoisofs. Very often I get messages like this:

WARN: Discontinuity in audio channel 8; please remultiplex input.
WARN: Previous sector: 39.938 - 40.010
WARN: Current sector: 40.010 - 40.106

But the dvd is ok and as the times printed are identical I think it must be
some sort of rounding error.

However, now I have a movie, where there is a gap between sectors:

WARN: Discontinuity in audio channel 8; please remultiplex input.
WARN: Previous sector: 39.938 - 40.010
WARN: Current sector: 40.034 - 40.106
WARN: Discontinuity in audio channel 8; please remultiplex input.
WARN: Previous sector: 62.330 - 62.402
WARN: Current sector: 62.426 - 62.498
WARN: Discontinuity in audio channel 8; please remultiplex input.
WARN: Previous sector: 183.938 - 184.010
WARN: Current sector: 184.034 - 184.106

.. a lot more warnings until the end of the movie. The dvd seems to be ok
(but I havent wtched it completely yet).

So, what is wrong here?

This has been discussed before and the answer was, that it may be caused by
a faulty submission. However, I dont think this is the reason, as transmission
was fine.

The recordning was from german tv station 'das vierte'.
