I follewed your instructions but the problem didn't happen. I use tla version 1.3.5. It seems strange to me that an ssh connection is attempted. In fact, AFAIK, `C-x V L' should be more or less equivalent to $ tla logs --full --reverse which should not trigger any connection to the remote repository. In addition to that, it is also strange that there is an `ssh_exchange_identification' error where ssh should not be involved, because the repository is accessed through http.
