I'm using dvd+rw-tools (growisofs) to burn images to DVD-R(W) media on a pioneer a04 drive under FreeBSD 4.7 from what I've read on dvd+rw-tools the name is simply to indicate it supports the +RW format. Anything it can do under +R(W) it can also do with -R(W) as long as it supports the drive. > Anyway, with a recent patched cdrecord and dvd+rw-tools you can burn any media under Linux which I think is great, > specially when you do not have _any_ copy of Windows lying around. > I use Gentoo, BTW. > > Haven't touched a WINDow$ box in two years, never seen XP, couldn't feel better ;-) My mkisofs (on which growisofs, from dvd+rw-tools, depends if you are burning from a filesystem) was from the dvdrecord package. It all seems to work fine. And not a hint of windows. :) Pink. _______________________________________________ Dvdrtools-users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/dvdrtools-users
