I was unaware that any Sony/Philips drive was supported by any cdrecord/dvdrecord release except some of Jorg's newer cdrecord-ProDVD releases. Even if a drive supports both + and -, the firmwares are very different between Sony/Philips and DVD Consortium. Correct me if dvdrecord has added such support though, or Sony is now producing DVD Consortium compatible firmwire that will take its command set. -- Bryan J.
