I've been using Princo DVD-R without a coaster issue -- 1x, 2x, 4x and 8x media. I've picked up TDK 16x DVD-R media in the local superstore as well. Not an issue yet at full 16x with stock Fedora Core 3 with CDRTools2.0+DVDpatch on dozens of systems. -- Bryan J.
