FWIW, the regular plain HTML editor already does something similar to this on LJ, though the two tabs' functionality are respectively "upload a picture to my ScrapBook" (which afaik isn't happening for now on DW) or "embed an image I've already uploaded to third-party PhotoBucket." I don't know that we want to start inserting more tabs for all of the major remote-loading-enabled photohosting programs out there, but altering it so that the "Insert Image" popup asks for what Denny describes would *seem* to be easy enough. The primary caveat, of course, is that not all photo hosting websites allow remote loading, but a simple short note and link to appropriate FAQ in the form can help. The less obvious bit - including the height and width in img tags is an accessibility issue, right? - Lynne -- http://www.lynnebaer.com/ * http://ursamajor.livejournal.com
