The way the importer was originally described on the mailing list, it was going to create feeds of the LJ accounts one was subscribed to and subscribe to those feeds.
The importer we're using in closed beta does not seem to do that. Is the friends to rss feature just not turned on so as not to overwhelm the closed beta machine, or has the functionality been removed from the feature, or is something else happening? --zvi
