Could memorial journals be excluded from lists such as "birthdays coming up" and if DWTalk ever happens from the buddy list on there. Probably more places I can't remember...
I have about 6 memorial journals on my LJ friends list because having to "unfriend" somebody when they die just seems totally icky but it's upsetting to see the reminders that they aren't there in things like birthday and chat lists.
