The suggestions given are obviously valid, but it is true that one could like to use ctrl-alt-backspace and ctrl-alt-fN keys during the X session, and block them only when the session is blocked. However, I did never find a general way to do this. I do this using vlock instead of slock (see the option -a and -a of vlock). -- Giorgio Lando <patroclo7 at gmail dot com>
