Well, i didn't use to read the mailing list, but after a quick search i couldn't really find out anything about how "classic multihead" support will look like. If i understand that the right way you are planning to divide the monitors from each other so that their tags won't interfere which each other. And you want that for both xinerama and multihead. So the only difference would be some special command for sending clients to an other monitor?
