on  second  thought:  could'nt  `mod1-m'   be made to toggle
between  monocle  and  tiling,  instead  (omitting  `mod1-t'
completly,  maybe)?  this would more or less emulate the old
`mod1-m'. such rapid switching back and forth with  one  key
would seem useful.
