I'd say being 'lispy' is something most definitely positive, but that's probably a matter of taste, so not a subject of sensible further discussion. I tried ratpoison ages ago and didn't like it for reasons I can't remember (perhaps I was too underdeveloped myself in the GUI department at the time), and I have yet to test drive stumpwm, but I'm leaving that for a moment when I have some spare time.
