I have faced with the same problem after pacman -Suy (Arch Linux, system upgrade). It is not a bug of dwm or some another of your apps. It is linux 2.6.26.x bug, for sure: http://linux.derkeiler.com/Mailing-Lists/Kernel/2008-08/msg04390.html Seems to be fixed already, just upgrade or downgrade your kernel.
