As you know, no action was taken on HR4720, nor is any likely during September when the House returns for their 1 month "lame duck" session. No companion bill was introduced in the Senate. Therefore, the legislation must be re-introduced next year to the "new" congress. I believe our messages now must reflect this reality. Who knows who will reintroduce and co-sponsor in the new congress? Do not mean to throw cold water on these letter attempts, but there is going to be considerable delay now..... BTW, my rep in the congress, Patsy Mink is already signed on as a co-sponsor.
