Hi,
So far I have read many many many emails about how bad CB and freebanding is. I agree freebanding is not good, sometimes freebanders spill over to the amateur 10M and 12M bands and they do cause a lot of disturbances and/or problems with others. Ohhhhh those roger beeps and echo, Ahhhhh, gotta love those roger beeps and echo, Hmmm wonder if I can install an echo and roger beep in my Kenwood TS-950SDX. I will have to look into that to piss off you hams that think CB is the open cesspool of the world. Right Kent K4MK.
Anyway, I am disappointed to read so many emails degrading CB and freebanding. Alot of amateur radio operators and I said alot not all hams came into amateur radio through CB and freebanding. Come on now, some of you think back to many years ago or maybe not so many years ago when you were still into CB radio and maybe some of you still are. Yeah, there you go now you remember. Not all of CB is bad. It is what you make it. There are a lot of good people on CB still. Don't tell that to Kent K4MK, he doesn't believe that. Kent K4MK wrote a letter that really disturbed me. I get the feeling he is the kind of guy that if he found out you used to be on CB radio at one time or another you are nothing but garbage. Well Kent K4MK, you are wrong, sadly sadly sadly wrong. It is people like you that destroy a hobby not others. Kent K4MK, You call CBers stupid. Don't you know any hams that are stupid? They are around. After all your email doesn't make me think much of you LOL. I came into ham radmade it for yourself. F reebanding on the other hand is not good because it is spilling over into the ham bands, but I can live with it for now. Have a nice day everyone, even you Kent K4MK 73 KB3ETL Dan
