While I was playing with the Trusted QSL program I found an interesting item in the Preferences menu. There is an option to allow nonamateur callsigns. I'm not really a conspiratorial type, but it did make me wonder why this "feature" was included with this particular program, especially given the ARRL's efforts to ensure the integrity of the logs. Maybe the ARRL is planning further ahead than many of us give them credit for- possibly planning for the time when amateurs and non-amateurs alike are happily sharing our bands? Hmmm.... Could also explain the Handbook's name change, too.
