If you go to www.service.symantec.com/fixit and do not readily find "If you downloaded the Virus Defs of 7 and 8 Jan..." or clicking on the blue text link underneath does not bring up the program for installing the Updated Verisign Trust Ceertificates.... (looks like Symantec has already changed the page)......
Scroll further down the page and click the "+" link next to Norton SystemWorks, and see if that will bring up the link for installing the Updated Verisign Trust Certificates. Although Symantec did not mention this, if you are unable to DLL and install the Updated Verisign Trust Certificates, try the I.E. "Quick Fix" first - your old Trust Certificates may be preventing you from accessing the program for installing the Updated Trust Certificates, or it might prevent you from downloaded and installing the Updated Trust Certificates.
