Setting the scene: Garmin Streetpilot III and Delphi XM Radio Roadie SP3 will show multiple sat signals and work fine UNTIL the XM radio is turned on and then ALL sat signals disappear and the unit displays Satellite Reception Lost. To get it back, I have to turn the XM radio off.
I did notice that the XM radio antenna cable is nicked and the outer shielding is broken but the reception is still A-OK So....anyone have a clue as to why? Did I just invent some sort of radio wave masking device? Do you think the government will pay me big $$$ for it?
