LotW is just not the same as having a card in front of you that you can hold, put on the wall, etc.
I suppose for the "instant gratification" generation it's the thing, but I still like to have my cards. And I prefer to read a good book printed on paper instead of reading the PDF version on a laptop. And I still prefer photographic films and papers with real silver in them instead of digital photography. Not that LotW, PDF files and digital photography don't have their places; it's just that they can't totally replace the abovementioned.
