Hi DX-ers

Have anybody heard about the status of this expedition? 3B6SP WEB site contains no new information, the last news release is dated June 1st.

According to published schedule they should be operating by now.

I wonder if Cyclone Gonu affecting them. Perhaps they are far away from this weather system.

Subject: [DX-NEWS] 3B6SP DXpedition - trouble with catamaran

http://hamspirit.wordpress.com/2007/06/06/3b6sp-dxpedition-trouble-with-ship/

DX Cluster reports mention SP9MRO/MM and team en route to Agalega have
encountered a problem with the catamaran they are sailing in. SP9MRO/MM has been working on 15 and 17m.

Unfortunately, as i type this, ZS1Y has confirmed via the cluster that the
catamaran has lost an engine and sail and is now heading back to St.Brandon (3B7). All on board appear to be ok. The DXpedition may now be canceled.
