The 35th Southeast Asia network convention in Thailand's beautiful
11th-Century northern city of Lampang is less than a month
away and with this message we bring up an update on the activities
that your host, the Radio Amateur Society of Thailand under the Royal
Patronage of His Majesty the King (RAST), has in store for
participants.
If you plan to come but have not yet registered, please do so at

You'll find detailed information about the activities we have planned
for you at the web site. These include a traditional wedding ceremony
on elephant-back, visits to hot springs, a tour of a power-generating
plant, sight-seeing tours and a northern Thai feast along with a
welcome dinner. Then there will be the grand gala dinner on Saturday
evening and the technical session on Sunday morning featuring, among
other things, an account of the 3B7C St Brandon Dxpedition.
We have received permission to use the special callsign HS35SEA and a
station will be set up at the Wienglakor hotel, where convention is
being held.
This promises to be a great convention and will be the ninth that
RAST has hosted. We certainly hope you can join the four-day party
from Thursday November 8 to Sunday November 11 and look forward to
meeting you in Lampang.
