Mni tnx to those stations who responded with helpful advice.
What I hadn't appreciated, was the necessity to enter the QSO # received
from the other station into the right hand field **before** hitting the
Enter key, in order to log the QSO.
Not everone highlighted this, probably becos' it's obvious to a contest
operator but not to a contest greenhorn like me!! Anyway, it's great fun and
good pile-up practice now I have it running. Hopefully, will solve the other
strange undocumented querks as we go along ;-)
