FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

NP2SH DXPedition Announced!

Members of The Wireless Association of South Hills, Inc. based in the South
Hills area of Pittsburgh, Pa, will be QRV from St. John, US Virgin Islands
from October 4th through the 12th  2003.  The DXPedition will be operating
under the call NP2SH.  The team will be on the air during the California QSO
party on 4-5 October and the Pennsylvania QSO Party on 11- 12 October.  The
DXpedition will be based at the home of NP2JF, a member of the club.

In addition, St. John is also listed on the RSGB's IOTA "Most Wanted" list
(NA-106) and is in grid square FK-77. In between the contests, the NP2SH
team will be running both phone and CW stations on all bands 10-80m as band
and weather conditions permit.

The team will be setting up a permanent ten meter propagation beacon for St.
John & the US VI under the call NP2SH/B.  Frequency will be announced
shortly.

QSL Manager will be Ed Oelschalger N3ZNI.  Please QSL with SASE or SAE/IRC's
as appropriate.
