To add a bit more to this...
a few years back, Howie W2AGW and I had the 'misfortune' to spend an extended time in the Dayton Airport returning from the Hamvention. Howie and I were on the same flight, and Continental decided to give us a ride home via Cleveland. I had, as a result, an opportunity to spend a few hours with Howie in the airport that I'll always treasure. Howie was an incredible man, and to have worked what he worked, without packet clusters, without spotting as we do now, well...speaks for itself.
