* PLEASE NOTE: The report "could" contain "Pirate/SLIM" operations or
more likely a "BUSTED CALLSIGN". As always, you never know - "Work
  First Worry Later" (WFWL).

3D2, FIJI (IOTA Activity). Laurence, KL1X/5 (GM4DMA), will be active as
3D2KL from Viti Levu and Vanua Levu Islands (OC-016), and possibly other
islands in the Fiji group starting around June 21st through July 9th.
However, his radio activity will be limited because he is working for a
voluntary organization. His activity will be on HF and 6 meters.

4S, SRI LANKA. Ron, 6Y5/4S7RO, who has been in Jamaica since September
2000, will be traveling back to his home (for a few months -- on
holiday) and will be operational as 4S7RO starting June 15th. He is not
sure if his XYL will reactivate her 4S7YLG callsign. Ron states,
"Although it may not be the right time of year, my prime objective would
be to get my old 160/80m antennas sorted out. I will mostly be on
CW/SSB, but in reposne to the many requests, I will also try to get
PSK31 operational ASAP." QSLs for 4S7RO go to DJ9ZB. QSLs for his 6Y5
operations are handled by G0IAS. ADDED NOTE: Ron mentions that he has
noted from various DX cluster archives that someone is bootlegging his
4S7 callsign on 10 MHz.

9H, MALTA. Jun, OE1ZKC/JH4RHF, will be active and on holiday from Malta
as 9H3RH from July 25th to August 8th. He will probably be active on
40-10 meters, SSB, CW, RTTY and SSTV upon request. QSL via OE1ZKC.
PLEASE NOTE that 1 USD does not cover the postage from OE to outside EU.

EA9, CEUTA AND MELILLA. Marc/ON5FP and Jose/ON4CJK will be here from
from July 30 to August 1st (callsigns not provided). QSL via ON4ADN
either through the UBA Bureau or direct to: Geert Decru, St.

Peucang Island, which is located near Krakatau Island, and activate the
callsign YE1P between July 21-25th. Activity will be on 80-10 meters

to activate this reef as OJ0YC between September 23-26th. The team of
operators include Mike/SM3WMV, Thomas/OZ1AA, Colin/KU5B and Pat/OH6GDX
at the moment. The DXpeditions goal is to be a multiplier in the
Scandinavian Activity Contest (SSB), and to be on the air as a serious
competing station too. They will also work a bit of RTTY during the
contest the same weekend, but the main focus will be on the SAC SSB.
Apart from HF, OH6GDX will mainly be focusing on working 2 meters (maybe
also 70cm). Activity on 2m will be at least on the FSK441a, CW, SSB, FM
modes. Mike promised to work some 6m QSOs too. Since the team consists
of students, any kind of help is needed (sponsors and donations). The

ZA NEWS AND ACTIVITY. The following is a press release from Martti
Laine, OH2BH: THE FIRST ALBANIA DX CONVENTION - ZA1DX. Who would have
expected a few years ago that an Albanian DX Convention would soon be
reality? Surely Amateur Radio has taken a major leap forward recently;
hence this gathering is possible this coming weekend. Some 60 people
from more than ten countries are expected to attend - and this includes
all new 39 licensees from the recent Amateur Radio training program at
the Technical University of Tirana. Last minute check-ins are welcome
and the festivities will be held at Rogner Europark Hotel, downtown
Tirana (see www.za1a.com <http://www.za1a.com/> ). Room booking
reference is "DX IS" and it will give you a special room rate. The
Convention will open on Saturday, June 19 at 10.00 and end up with a DX
Dinner at 19.00. During the afternoon a new Club station, ZA1UT, will be
inaugurated at the Technical University. A new Yaesu FT1000MP and Quadra
VL1000 station will be aired. Opening words will be by the Vice-Minister
of Education and the Rector of the University. Moreover, several donated
radios will find their new homes during this coming weekend. Lecturing
at the DX Convention will be G3TXF, G3LQP, I8NHJ, K2WR, LA2RR, OH2BH,
OH2PM, T93Y and W6UM. Obviously these people will get on with beam
antennas - extensive on-the-air activity can therefore be expected, from
Thursday evening, June 17 through Wednesday, June 23. QSL ZA1DX via
OH2BH."

ZB2, GIBRALTAR. Marc/ON5FP and Jose/ON4CJK will be active from here July
27-29th (callsigns not provided). QSL via ON4ADN either through the UBA
