Maybe someone can alert JAs that donations to the VU4 effort are welcome (2 to date).
If I can get a flight, I will pay for myself to go to Andaman mid-December and take lots of photos and videos. I can break away from getting my wife's daughters USA visas while I am in Thailand.... which may take more than a month as government time ticks.
I am advising VU4RBI to just get on 20m and stay there to service those who need VU4 for the first time. I think she will also do CW, but other modes are not likely at this time. There will be a second station that will roam other bands as propagation permits. And, yes, the team knows some paths' openings will be of short duration. For example, a weekly sked on 20m...Fla. to HS over the past years tells me that the openings may be as short as 15 minutes or as long as 1 1/2 hrs. Lately, I have done long path at the start of the opening and switched to short path as long path began to erode. Please be patient and creative. Good luck and 73,
