Hello Laurent, I have used one and still do when portable with FT-897 and
have had excellent results with it. It is a little bit of a pain tuning it
but it does tune on each band and works well. I decided to purchase mine
after hearing and working T2YL on a few bands and than finding out the
Buddipole is what she was using.
