Seems the malcontent who originally reported the DXR reflectors posts as spam to AOL has decided that he needs to assert his control over the list again.
As of this afternoon, every post sent to the list has resulted in a TOS warning from AOL. I doubt asking the offending party to just unsubscribe would be hoping for too much. It's too much of an ego booster to someone short on ego as well as possibly physical attributes (why else do this?) Unnamed sources have suggested another list owner who holds mulitple e-mail addresses is doing it to force people to subscribe to his/her list as an alternative. Frankly I think this one is a tad over the top. Urb will be deciding what to do in the next few hours, but it looks like all aol subscribers will be moved off the mail reflector and put back on the forwarded DXR digest list. It's a shame when one person who obviously has some bug up his butt ruins it for everyone else. Anyway, if you suddenly stop getting regular posts and only see digest versions, you'll at least know why 73, Steven - KF2TI Systems Administrator NJDXA DXR Reflector outgoing mail scanned with Norton's NAV2005 ---------------------------------------------------------- Archives http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected] THE DXR is sponsored by the North Jersey DX Association.
