CIA-41, IOCA CI-104), Rivanj (ACIA CIA-40, IOCA CI-102), Jidula (IOCA

11/06/2005:  Look for Bernd, DL8AAV, to be QRV June 11-24th as
SM7/DL8AAV/p from Aspo Island (EU-138). This will be an SSB only

11/06/2005:  Team UE3EDA plans to be active June 11-12th from the
following areas for the Russian District Award: L'gov City (KU-06),
Glushkovsky area (KU-10), Konyshevsky area (KU-16), Korenevsky area
(KU-17), Kurchatovsky area (KU-19), L'govsky area (KU-20) and Ryl'sky
area (KU-27), located in the Kurskaya oblast (KU). The team will consist
of Serge RU3EG, Alex RU3EJ and Igor UA3EDQ. They will be active as
UE3EDA/3 (20 and 40, SSB and CW) and UE3EDA/3/M (SSB). On the way home,
June 12th, they will probably activate the following RDA districts as
UE3EDA/3/M: Dmitrievsky area (KU-12), Zheleznogorsky area (KU-13) and
the Homutovsky area (KU-33); as UE3EDA/M from Trosnjansky area (OR-27),

11/06/2005:  Weather permitting, UE0ISL will try to be active June
11-13th from Zav'yalova Island (IOTA AS-059, RRA New One - RR-13-17) on
40, 20, 17, and 15 meters. If they can not activate Zav'yalova Island,
the will try from Nedorazumeniya Island (IOTA AS-059, RRA RR-13-16).
Later on, in July, the team is planning more serious trips to this

12/06/2005:  Kyle W4KTF, Jim KI4FVT and Sandra KI4HVG will be active
June 12-19th as homecall/p from Emerald Isle (IOTA NA-112, USI NC-010S,
Carteret County), North Carolina. Look for them on 40-6 meter SSB, with

12/06/2005:  Palle OZ5MJ and Jakob OZ7AEI will operate as homecall/p
June 12th from Lyo Island (IOTA EU-172, DIA FY-009), starting around
09:00 UTC. They will then move on to the Avernako Island (IOTA EU-172,
DIA FY-010), and will activate the two lighthouses located on this
island (ARLHS reference DEN-156 and DEN-157). Plans are to have two

13/06/2005:  A group of operators from the Warrington Amateur Radio Club
will be QRV June 13-17th as GB0SGI from St. Georges Island (IOTA EU-120,

14/06/2005:  An expedition will leave the Orkney Islands on June 11th
arriving in the area of Rockall Island (IOTA GM EU-New!) around June
14th and remaining there until June 21st. It will include an amateur
radio team led by Dave Wood MM0ALM, assisted by well-known and
experienced island activator Seamus (Jim) Cameron MM0CWJ from the
Hebrides. They will rely on a member of the SAS to get them onto the
rock from an inflatable and hope to put up a small tent on a tiny ledge
a few meters square. They will use the call MS0IRC/p and operation will
be primarily SSB (all bands, as appropriate). QSL via direct to G0HXN.

Jur'ev-polsky Area VL-28, Kol'chugino City VL-08 and the Kol'chuginsky

16/06/2005:  Jakob, OZ7AEI, will be active June 16th as OZ7AEI/p from
the following islands, for the Danish islands award: Jegindoe (DIA
NJ-006), Ageroe (DIA NJ-018) and Mors (DIA NJ-002). All islands are in
the EU-171 group. At Mors, he will activare the Sillerslev lighthouse
(ARLHS reference DEN-064). The activity will start at around 07:00 UTC,

17/06/2005:  In late June (probably June 17-24) LA5WJA/mm and Per
LA7DFA/mm will operate 6 meters from a sailboat in grids JP33, JP43,
JP54 and JP44. They will even consider JP34 if weather and propagation

17/06/2005:  The week of June 17-25th James VE3TPZ will be operating
from some lighthouses located on the Bruce Peninsula, in Ontario. Note
this is a bicycle tour trip that James assists with each year and he
will only be operating at night. James will be leaving on June 17-18th
so there will be some daytime activity these days with more activity

Banks of North Carolina June 26th to July 2nd. He plans to activate

lighthouse (WLH K-033, ARLHS USA 119), Bodie Island lighthouse (WLH
K-024, ARLHS USA 067), Ocracoke Island (IOTA NA-067, USI NC-001S, Hyde
County) and the Ocracoke lighthouse (WLH K-113, ARLHS USA 561 WLOTA

20/08/2005:  Look for about 12 operators to be active August 20-21st as
DF0WFB/p from Helgoland Island (IOTA EU-127, GIA N-14), adjacent to

of sight to Helgoland dune entrance range front (ARLHS FED-102) and
Helgoland dune entrance range rear (ARLHS FED-103). Activity will be on
all HF bands in CW, SSB and SSTV, on 2 meters and on 23cm in ATV with 20

20/08/2005:  Theodoros SV1GRM, Sotirios SV1HER, Cliff SV1JG and Markos
SV1MF will activate the special call SX8L August 20-22nd from the island
of Antikythira (IOTA EU-113, MIA MG-014, WW Loc. KM15QU). They will also
activate the Apolytares lighthouse (WLH SV-011, ARLHS GRE-040, WLOTA
0298) during the International Lighthouse Weekend (August 20-21st). Look

20/08/2005:  Tom, W8LBZ, will be active August 20-21st as W8LBZ/p from

reference USA-769). Look for him on 40 and 20 meters, usual USI and

28/09/2005:  Nando IT9YRE (T32Y), Claudio I1SNW (T32SNW) and Alfio
IT9EJW (T32EJW) will be QRV September 28th to October 15th from Flint
Island (IOTA OC-NEW!). If they are unable to land on Flint Island, they
will move on to Vostok Island in the same group. The second new one will
be Caroline Island (aka Millennium Island). Activity will be on all

01/06/2005:  9A10KC - Special call sign
On the occasion of the 10th jubilee of the Community fot the Technoical
Culture of the City of Koprivnica, the members of the Amateur Radio Club
Koprivnica will be active with the special call sign 9A10KC (Nine Alpha
Ten Kilo Charlie).

The special call sign will be in use from the 1st of June until the 31st
of December 2005.
