To the New Jersey DX Crew, and to my many contacts thru this year

The rattle of a transformer with loose laminations, and the beauty of the blue hue of the mercury vapor tube rectifier is a by-gone era. It begins with the snap of the throwover relay. Here we may see the plates of our finals turn cherry red as we send a signal to parts unknown, but alas when the answer returns, the joy like a dream come true, is to us a new toy indeed. New devices, new equipment still has the same feel. Christmas will always be like that. Enjoy it while your alive. Remember that others too might not be so fortunate, for the signal may not come back. If the QRM is too high, or the antenna just fell. I hope you QSN for the time is now. Have a happy New Years and remember those who are fighting to make our world a safe place and want to come home to their QTH to be by their family. I ask for a blessing on you all.
